The Key lime is smaller and usually have a more sweet and bitter flavour than regular lime. This citrus has gotten its name from its association with the Florida Keys, where it is best known as the flavouring ingredient in Key lime pie. I found this citrus fruit in a local grocery store a couple of days ago and I just had to make some pie!
Apples are in season and I just had to make this cake for the Hoedown bake sale at my daughters school. Apples are a common fruit in Norwegian gardens, and some gardens are so filled with them that the owners are unable to use them all. My former neighbour and name sister (and the mother of my daughters best friends) has a couple of trees full of apples. Last year I got a lot from her, but now living in California, I have to buy all my apples for the cake.
In my garden back in Norway I have two blueberry trees. These differ a lot from what Norwegians call blueberries, witch is not the same as blueberries in english. If you type blueberry on Wikipedia you get on the top of the article:
